First, the instructional problem is clarified. We should clearly understand what and who the training is for.
This includes clarifying the desired outcome, deadlines, formats and methodologies.
Finally, we should evaluate the tasks involved to ensure complete understanding.
During this phase, the team will identify objectives for the final material.
Based on requirements and objectives, we will decide on the most optimal delivery format to begin working.
Finally, we will design an initial prototype to allow stakeholders to give input.
Based on the prototype and stakeholder feedback, we will fully build out the design elements for the material.
Once design is complete, we will add all of the necessary learning content and begin final review
Once review is passed, the material will be pilot tested with learners to get feedback on the material
Once the pilot test is completed, we will begin making the material available to all requisite employees.
Finally, we will ensure that employees are made aware of the new material and are given clear instructions on how to access it.
During this time, we collect data and feedback from learners over a period of time.
Once sufficient data is collected, we will interpret it to identify issues and sticking points and ensure the goals and requirements were met
Finally, we will identify and share potential improvements and relevant metrics from the data interpretation to stakeholders.
